Science

Casebrook has a science lab enabling students to undertake experiments and scientific studies to increase their understanding of science and how it's impacting the wider world.

We want our students to:

• Show awareness of science in their world
• Be able to think critically, make predictions and ask a variety of questions that show deep thinking skills
• Develop observational skills in scientific investigations
• Incorporate ICT and use a variety of media to explain their ideas and understandings.

Students at Casebrook are encouraged to extend their Science learning through a variety of activities offered on Wednesday afternoons as a part of the Science Extension group.

Students are also encouraged to extend themselves throughout the school year by participating in our Science Badge Programme. (This programme can also be connected to the Student's Casebrook Challenge.)
