We are proud to introduce our House Leaders for 2018!
We asked each of our House Leaders the following questions:
- What do you love about Casebrook?
- What are you most looking forward to about Casebrook this year?
- What things do you like doing in your spare time?
- What is a special talent you have?
CAVENDISH HOUSE
Lauren Sharland - R10
What I love about Casebrook are all of the opportunities that there are to join such as learning musical instruments, leadership or extension classes. I'm looking forward to joining new clubs/groups and working with the leadership team. I love to play sports like Waterpolo, dance, netball and touch.
Hekeawai McDermott - R6
I love all the opportunities that the school offers. I was really looking forward to going to camp. I love playing sport, eating, singing, and playing drums at school. Not to mention playing rugby, touch, rugby league, kapa haka and did I mention eating?
VEITCHES HOUSE
Sam Hicks - R6
I love the opportunities at Casebook, from chilling out in tech to digging in and getting outside with sport and team building activities like Top Team. This year I am looking forward to meeting all the new Yr 7's and to lead Veitches to victory. Some things I love to do in my spare time are to drive steam trains at the Halswell miniature trains and fishing . My favourite band is AC-DC and I also play the guitar for the school rock band which is also my talent!
Lily Burns - R13
What I love about Casebrook are all the opportunities because everyone can get involved. What I am looking forward to this year is working with lots of different students and getting into a lot more new experiences. In my spare time I like to talk to my friends and play outside with my dog. My special talent is that I am good with other people and I can get along with anyone!
NORTHFIELD HOUSE
Sophie Stewart - R13
I love the independence that students are given and the opportunities that are on offer at Casebrook. I am looking forward to all of the fun house events and getting to know all of the year sevens. I am also looking forward to taking on this role of on of Northfield's House Leaders! In my spare time, I will most likely be outside playing sports or shooting netball hoops. I also love sketching and painting. My special talent has to be drawing and playing netball.
Alex Macdonald - R13
One of the things I love about Casebrook is all of the different sporting opportunities that we have on offer. These include: rugby, basketball, water polo, rugby league, softball, soccer... the list goes on. This year I am looking forward to working with Sophie to hopefully lead Northfield house to its glory! In my spare time, I play rugby, touch and like to hang out with my friends. I also love to ride my motorbike and go mountain biking. A special talent I have is putting on accents from different countries or impersonating famous people.
SAWYERS HOUSE
Ben Camm - R13
I love all the opportunities that Casebrook has to offer, especially this year. Especially the school production and working as deputy head boy and house leader. Playing video games, watching youtube, and doing stuff with my friends. My special talent is being good with technology and acting.
Isla Sanford - R14
I love Casebrook because of the amazing opportunities that are offered to the Casebrook students such as cultural dances, singing groups, sports teams, waterpolo, tech extension groups and many, many more. There is always enough for everyone to find an opportunity that they love. This year I am really looking forward to being on the student council and house leader team and organising mufti days and assemblies. In my spare time I love to dance and swim. I have been dancing since I was three years old and last year I competed and placed in Australia for a lyrical solo. I am very good at writing and performing speeches and I have made it to the semi finals in 2016 and 2017.
