North Island Sailing Champs

Jayden Curry from Room 5 competed last week.

Last week one of our students, Jayden Curry, went to Taupo to a sailing regatta at the North Island Championships.  On the first day the wind was light for the first two races and he got 38th in the first race and 32nd in the second race. He then picked up for the last race so he got 49th.

On the second day it was quite windy, gusting 35 knots and over the three races on that day he finished 18th on the first race, 42nd in the second race and 34th in the third race.

On the last day there was one race and he finished 13th.

Jayden came 9th in the Silver Fleet out of 55.   His overall rating went up.
