The Casebrook Table Tennis teams competed in the South Island tornament, which was held in Christchurch on the 24th and 25th of October.
The A and B teams each played 20 games altogether. The teams played with great passion and most importantly they had outstanding sportsmanship. Ashton Lay, who is a member of the team, said "it was a good learning experience, exhausting, and a place to make new friends." Ashton’s favourite experience was playing against the best player at the South Island tournament and he thought this was a big challenge for him. Overall the teams had lots of fun with the A team coming 2nd and the B team receiving a fair play award. We had such an amazing time at table tennis, we hope we get to do it again.
