On Tuesday the 29th August the Year 7’s started a kickball tournament after lunch.
Kickball is a game like softball except you kick the ball instead of hitting it with a bat, and there are four bases instead of three. With Kickball you kick the ball, if you kick the ball and it goes out, you are out. If someone catches the ball on the full then that person is out and if you kick the ball and someone doesn’t catch it but then they get the ball and pass it to the bowler in the circle that person is out. You can only be out if the bowler is in the circle at the time, if the bowler is in the circle they will yell ‘STOP’ and if you aren’t at a base you are out. Room 7 versed Room 11 first and tied. Then we versed Room 9 and also tied.
Thanks to Mr Halaifonua for organising this tournament for the Year 7’s.
