Last Friday the Kapa Haka group went to Cotswold School to perform at their Cultural Assembly.
First off we got to school and went to the hall to go practice our kapa haka moves and had to put our uniform and tamoko on. We left our school at 8:30am and went by bus, singing songs until we got there. Then we arrived and got seated into their assembly and watched their Kapa Haka performance and then it was our turn to perform so we went up and started to sing. Claude, Jack and myself did a duet to the song Te aho mai ra then after we performed. It was lots of fun to go to another school. We got back to Casebrook around 9:40am.
