Otago Daily Times - Current Events Quiz

On the 31st of August, Avonhead Primary School hosted the annual ODT Current Events Quiz, where 55 Year 7 & 8 teams competed against each other. 

Casebrook Intermediate entered two teams comprising of 6 students. In the Year 7 team there was Alex Macdonald, Ryan Maule from Room 8 and James Bruzo from Room 7. In the Year 8 team there was Briar Macdonald, Neo Irion and Gabe Collins from Room 1. The competition had 10 rounds totalling 100 questions. The Year 8 team was called Casebrook 1 and the Year 7 team was Casebrook 2. The Year 8 team scored 70, while the Year 7 team scored 79 points. The winners were Cobham 2 after having to do a play off, second was Cathedral Grammar 2 and third place was Cobham 1.

It was a really fun evening, both teams showing outstanding REP!
