Hayley Johns (Term 1, Art Teacher), entered the our students into the competition, which encouraged them to submit photos, drawings and descriptions of their favourite outdoor places around New Zealand.
The competition included prizes for the top three entries in the “Best Photo”, “Best Drawing” and “Best Description” categories, and I’m happy to say that Casebrook did particularly well in the “Best Drawing” category. Boston Beanland won first place and Izzy Orr won second place.
Boston’s first place prize includes an Apple iPad Mini courtesy of Farmside, a pair of Skellerup Red Band gumboots, a pair of 70 Mile Bush socks from the Kiwi Sock Company, a $60 Wild South Clothing voucher and a Dash day pack.
Casebrook’s prize for Boston’s entry is a Cancer Society 1L Pump bottle of sun lotion and a $100 book voucher. Izzy’s second place prize is a $50 book voucher, a pair of Skellerup Red Band gumboots and 70 Mile Bush socks. Casebrook will receive a $50 book voucher for Izzy’s second place finish.
Well done and congratulations to Boston and Izzy.
