The enthusiasm and engagement of our students helped ensure Open Night was a great showcase of the learning that takes place here at Casebrook. Thank you to our community for your support and to our staff for their extra efforts.
On Monday night the Digi space was open with students demonstrating their amazing skills and perseverance, from programming robots to playing music through fruit. The students were great teachers. Thank you to Mrs Shona Kelleher for creating such an engaging learning space. Also congratulations to Shona for becoming a qualified Google Educator.
On Tuesday Casebrook hosted the first Inter- Intermediate Cup Cake decorating competition. The results were an absolute credit to their creators. Thank you to Mrs Lauren Dick- McCann and Mrs Helen Davanney for their work with our students. I am sure it will become an annual event.
Next week Bronte Perriam and Ben Donaldson, accompanied by Mr Nick Leith, leave for a week in Korea where they will represent New Zealand at the e-Icon Global Collaboration Event. We look forward to hearing about their experiences and wish them safe travels.
The term has had a very busy start with attention now turning towards our school show. Classes are learning their dances and the cast members rehearsing. Performances will be during the last week of the term.
Thank you for your on going support and please do contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
