Christmas Raffle Success!

By Bev Bell | Posted: Friday November 29, 2024

On Wednesday 27th November students of Casebrook Intermediate dressed up in their finest Christmas outfits for the annual Casebrook Christmas raffle.

The students brought in sweet treats and Christmas-themed snacks for the Christmas raffle. These were made into Christmas hampers and will go to the lucky people whose names were drawn on Tuesday.

Helen Delaney and Mr Russell organised the Christmas raffle and non-uniform day on behalf of the PTA..

There was a non-uniform day so students could dress up in Christmas-themed clothes. From green tutus to full-on dressing up like a Christmas tree to Santa costumes or just Santa hats, the Christmas spirit was evident throughout the day.

One class raised $234 in raffle tickets! Congratulations to Room 3 for raising the most money. Room 10 came in second raising $220 and Room 15 raised $194.

We asked Helen how much money the school had raised for the raffle. She said, “It was between $3000-3500. You could get an Apple Vision Pro for that money!”

Helen estimates about 70% of the school was dressed in Christmas clothes for the school non-uniform day.

A big thank you to Helen, Mr Russell and everyone who helped our school by selling tickets.

Congratulations to the following winners:
