Casebrook First Lego League Team National Success!

The Casebrook FLL team won the Innovation Award at the Nationals in Auckland last weekend.

Mr Mutch and his team of brilliant innovators have gone and absolutely blown the socks off the judges last weekend. The team consisted of Connor Devine, Amelia Dodd, Elizabeth (Lizzie) Diener, and Isla Wray.

We asked the team captain, Isla Wray, what the hardest challenge was that they had to overcome and she said, ‘ In general, finishing the thing was hard enough’. When asked why their team was so successful in First Lego League, she responded with, ‘We don’t really argue. We share our ideas, and use a lot of collaboration'. When asked how they kept themselves motivated, Isla replied, ‘Our mascot; Mr Sir Captain Skelly Bones’.

With this Year 7 group achieving this measure of success we look forward to seeing their project next year! Congratulations again to this talented team!
