This fortnights school-wide REP focus is showing respect in our driveway and at the school crossing.

Our school-wide REP focus for the past fortnight has been around showing respect in our driveway and crossing. It is important that our students understand how to use our driveway and crossing safely. Below are our expectations.

Walking

  1. Walk through the footpath gate.

  2. Stay on the footpath.

  3. During winter terms please do not walk across the field.

Bike/Scooter

1. Get off your bike or scooter when entering the front gate.

2. Pedaling or scooting on the left side of the driveway between the footpath and the yellow lines.

3. Get off again at the white house at the top of the driveway.

4. Walking your bike or scooter to the compound.

5. Locking your bike or scooter safely in the compound.

Car

At Casebrook we show RESPECT for the safety of ourselves and others when getting dropped off at school via car by:

1. Asking parents to drop you outside the gates.

2. Walking down the footpath.

3. Avoiding the driveway to leave it free for scooters, bikes and skateboards and vehicles.

The Crossing

1. Waiting patiently behind the line.

2. Walking our bikes and scooters across the crossing.

3. Respecting the the students and teachers on road patrol by using our manners and following the instructions.
