Casebrook was full of yellow, blue, red and green energy for our annual Tug of War competition.
Last week we held our Tug of War competition. Our brand new House Cup was up for grabs at this event. Students were allowed to come in their house colours and it was great to see the Casebrook students put in heaps with their outfits and costumes. All the students looked great in their outfits and houses were awarded bonus points for all their effort.
The competition started with all houses going off and practicing their house chant that was written by the house leaders. Houses then all joined back up and then one by one each house performed their chant. It was great to see houses be creative with the way they performed their chant. In the end the best chant went to Veitches.
We then moved into the main event, the tug of war. Students showed a lot of strength and perseverance. Everyone was giving it their all to try and make sure their house ended up being the overall winners. We ended the afternoon with a staff vs students tug of war. Well done to the staff who took out the win. The students just didn't have the strength at the end of the day.
Ka pai tō mahi Casebrook on an awesome tug of war. It was so awesome to see students showing so much pride to for their house and a big well done to Cavendish who were the overall winners. They are now the holders of our House Cup.
