By Tom Straker | Posted: Monday April 1, 2024

As a part of our school-wide focus on attendance, whānau will be emailed home a summary of their child's attendance for Term 1.

An important note - families of students who have not missed a day this term will not receive an email.

Some important information in understanding this report

'Explained but unjustified' - This means that you have provided the school with a reason but it does not fit within our school policy for a justified absence.

'No information - Truant' - This means that no explanation has been provided about why your child has been absent from school.

'Justified explanation within policy' - This means that the reason for absence is justified. This can include bereavement, national sporting representation.

If you think any of the information shared in this summary is incorrect, please contact our Attendance Support Teacher - Tom Straker and we will try to amend this for you.
