Pink Shirt Day is an annual event against bullying, held in Canada and New Zealand. Participants wear pink shirts or pink clothing to show their solidarity to anti-bullying!
Te Kura Mareko Casebrook painted the town pink on Friday with our Pink Shirt Non Uniform Day. The colour pink was everywhere!
At lunchtime there was an opportunity to participate in a colouring in competition where the prizes were a pink moosie or a berry juicy. Keeping in theme for the day.
It was awesome to see so many of our school community supporting this event by wearing their pink and donating to a great cause. There is more photos and footage on the latest episode of TKM News. We raised $470!
