My name is Sharnae and on the 31st of May Marcus Akuhata-Brown and his group visited our school to talk about knowledge and commitment . We did a welcoming assembly to Marcus and his group. After the powhiri Marcus and his group went to our classes and did a little workshop, 20 mins max. After that Miss Bull and Mr Leys went around and tapped on our shoulders for an extra 1 hour and 30 mins with Marcus. I was part of that, which I was excited about. Yet terrified with because I was around Marcus who has met Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles. I felt like I belonged there with them. They taught me and the group to never give up, stay strong and know that you have other people that you could talk to and that can support you.
