Student Engagement

Tuesday saw the start of Hagley Winter Sports, unfortunately most of the teams remained back at school due to the water.

Fingers crossed next week we will have 222 students in 19 teams competing in eight different sports. We wish all these teams the best of luck and know that you will compete always showing Casebrook REP.

Academic Term 1 came to an end last week. Thank you to the parents and whanau who came along to celebrate the Inquiry Project - "Mātauranga - The Untold Story" work that was on display in Te Puna Waro.

The beginning of Academic Term 2 will see a slight change in timetabling. Students will begin new Technology and Spec classes this week. Art will become part of the technology programme and Digitech will become part of the Spec programme as part of a trial for this Academic Term.

Next Wednesday afternoon the annual Casebrook Cross Country will take place. The race will occur in and around Casebrook Intermediate. Please feel free to come along and support our students.

The Ministry of Education has given a two week window for all schools to have a  Curriculum and Assessment staff-only day. We will be having our staff only day on Friday 31 May. The focus of this day will be on Mathematics.

If you have any questions or concerns do not hesitate to contact the classroom teacher or the staff in the office.
