Every Tuesday afternoon, Casebrook students head to Hagley sports grounds, and other sports facilities to participate in a variety of sports, showcasing their enthusiasm and talent.
After lunch every Tuesday, a vast number of Casebrook students head down the driveway to the buses to engage in various sports activities. Whether it's netball with a whopping eight teams, rugby with three different teams, football with four teams, badminton with four teams, table tennis with three teams, or hockey with two teams, there's something for everyone. We spoke to some of the students about their experiences.
Quinton Groves - Football: "I like competing against other teams. I also enjoy hanging with my friends."
Bree Hunter - Netball: "We have challenging opponents, but we still have fun."
JD Hall - Badminton: "I find it fun, and my favourite part is getting away from school and playing badminton."
Jimmy Cribb - Table Tennis: "I like hanging with my friends and meeting new people from other schools. It’s really fun."
Casebrook is a massive sports school and has so many teams, which means lots of buses are needed to transport everyone to Hagley. The students love the opportunity to compete, make new friends, and enjoy a break from their usual school routine.
