Can You Help? We're Looking for old Smartphone Donations!

Here at Casebrook Intermediate our students are currently diving into an exciting inquiry project on ancient civilizations. To make this project even more engaging, we want to use technology in some creative ways. Some classes are exploring stop-motion animations to bring historical scenes to life, and we're also looking into virtual reality (VR) to give students a real sense of what ancient worlds were like.

This is where we need your help! If you have any old smartphones that you're not using anymore, we'd love to take them off your hands. Ideally, we'd like to gather around 30 phones. We can connect these phones to our school's WiFi, which is well-filtered to ensure students stay on task and don't access anything they shouldn't. For the VR experience, we're using DIY cardboard goggles that work with smartphones—a fun and budget-friendly approach.

Your old smartphones can make a huge difference in enhancing our students' learning experience, not just for this project but for many future projects as well. We would be so grateful for any donations you can make. Just drop them into the school office!
