It has been great to see over 220 students participating in their sports teams enthusiastically and representing our school with REP.
Next Thursday, June 13th, we will be holding the much anticipated annual Casebrook School Dance Party. This is always a popular event. There will be lollies, drinks and glow merchandise available for purchase. If you still haven't got a ticket these can be purchased through the office. At the end of the night students will need to be collected from the hall.
Last Wednesday, we held the Casebrook Cross Country event. Congratulations to all students who took part. It was wonderful to see parents and whānau here supporting their children, particularly given the freezing, cold conditions of the day!
Results for the day are as follows:
Year 7 Girls – 1st Lilliana Roberts, 2nd Stella Au, 3rd Alia Jones
Year 7 Boys - 1st Baxter Stephens, 2nd Cooper Trenberth, 3rd Zach Woodward
Year 8 Girls – 1st Chloe Johnson, 2nd Mila Macioce, 3rd Arlia Wing
Year 8 Boys – Malachi Rattray, 2nd Adam Clark, 3rd Linkin Curwood
The top eight from each level will compete at the Canterbury Zones at Ngā Puna Wai on the 26th June. Parents will be sent more information closer to the time.
It’s that time of the year where schools begin their transitions. Casebrook will work with Year 6 students from the five main contribution schools when they visit on the 20th of June and 2nd of July. Our current Year 8 students have been visiting open days/nights at high schools for next year.
If you have any questions or concerns at all, please do not hesitate to contact your child’s classroom teacher or the staff in the office.
