It's that time of year again! Auditions have happened and the cast will know who they are this week. Anita and Kororia interviewed Mr Broad to find out about what's yet to come!

The production auditions were held on Thursday 27th of June, and Monday, the 1st of July. The theme for this year's production is Robin Hood, with our own twist to make it more interesting. These are the questions that we asked Mr Broad about the production auditions.

Why did you choose Robin Hood to be the production this year?

Mr Broad: Because I really liked Robin Hood growing up, and it had a good script.

What type of people are you looking for in the production?

Mr Broad: People who like drama, are keen, and people who persevere.

If you were to have lunch/dinner with a character in Robin Hood, who would it be and why?

Mr Broad: Little John because I always liked him growing up

What is the production about?

Mr Broad: The story of Robin Hood with a twist.

What is the maximum number of students allowed to participate in the production?

Mr Broad: 25 speaking parts, and every class supports the production with a dance.

If another student is injured during the production, will the play continue?

Mr Broad: Yes, because we have understudies.

What is the purpose of the production?

Mr Broad: For students to learn about drama; it is a fun way to do something different with your class.

How many students auditioned for the production?

Mr Broad: 106 students auditioned.

How do you think the production will go?

Mr Broad: Exceptional - just like always!

With all the hard work from Mr Broad and Mari, we know that the production will be an absolute success. Congratulations to all the students who were selected for a speaking role or an understudy part!
