Belfast Rugby Club Tournament in Queenstown

Amelia from Room 15 caught up with some of the players from the Belfast Rugby Club to find out more about their upcoming tournament.

As we all know, rugby is a big sport in New Zealand, and many kids from Casebrook Intermediate are in the Belfast Rugby Club. There are about 20-30 students from Casebrook who play in the Belfast Rugby Club.

I interviewed Tyler Glynn, Liam Winter, and Levi Lester and asked some questions about the Belfast Rugby Club. The upper grade is going to a tournament in Queenstown.

Tyler, Liam, Malachi, Ollie, Enzay, Meady, Josh - Tyler/Liam 

Levi, Rico, Tyrell, Aiden, Jackson, Josh - Levi 

How did your latest game go?

Good, we won 60-17 we won by 43 - Liam/Tyler 

We won 43-7 by 35 - Levi

Are you going to the tournament?

Yes - Tyler 

Yes - Liam

No - Levi 

Where are you going for the tournament?

Queenstown - Tyler/ Liam 

When do you go to the tournament?

Sometime in September - Liam/Tyler 

How did you raise money for your tournament? 

Sold fireworks

Play rugby
