Friday brings another busy Term to a close. When talking with a group of students this week they mentioned the following as their highlights. Competing at Hagley Sports and Friday night basketball, Matariki Breakfast, Performing at On Our Way and the School Disco.
Last week's Matariki celebration was a great success and there was a large turnout. The Casebrook community was treated to an amazing breakfast spread, while being entertained by Kapa Haka performances and looking at students work on display int the hall to celebrate Matariki.
We had the last of our Year 6 contributing school visits take place this week. This is an opportunity for Casebrook to showcase our school to the wider community and to begin the transition work for next years Year 7’s. The Year 6 students are given a taster in some of the extra-curricular activities at Casebrook, as well as experiencing specialist classes.
Tomorrow we will host the End of Term Celebration Assemblies. This is a time where students receive their Gold Casebrook Challenge badge and we reflect on the term's achievements. Please join us if you are able.
School reports are going home today and if you haven't already please book in for a student led conference in Week 1 of next term. https://www.schoolinterviews.co.nz/code/xxycf
