Te Kura Mareko took part in the World Vision 40 Hour Challenge.
Te Kura Mareko recently took part in the 40-Hour Challenge, successfully surpassing their $5,000 fundraising goal. This event, organized by World Vision, sees participants give up something important for 40 hours to raise funds for those in need.
Here's the photos of our amazing World Vision SUPER fundraisers:
Hudson Chandler (Room 16) took out the top spot, raising $600! His goal was only $300 so he doubled his target.
Lily Moore (Room 9) took out second place with an amazing $450, her goal was $250, she smashed it!
Izzy Williams (Room 13) set an awesome goal of $350 and hit the mark!
The funds raised will support World Vision’s projects, improving access to education, healthcare, and clean water in impoverished regions.
Here is what Hudson said about his fundraising efforts, "My 40 hour challenge was 40 hours outside. I got lots of donations from family and friends. I completed my 40 hour challenge by building a backyard campout, also I cooked bacon, eggs and toast, with a gas cooker. Most the time I hung out with my dog Daisy and my brother Oakley on the front deck".
