Muju is a small town in the North Jeolla province of South Korea and once again some of their students have made the big trip over to the South Island of New Zealand
Casebrook Intermediate welcomed 23 students from Muju last week. They are spending 16 days in Christchurch and during this time they are experiencing life at Casebrook Intermediate and in NZ homes.
Casebrook Intermediate have a strong relationship with our visitors from Muju and it is really nice to have them visit once a year.
Some days are spent in the classroom and doing ESOL lessons and other days they go out on day trips experiencing what Christchurch City has to offer.
This years day trips have seen them visit the Antarctic Centre, Canterbury and Lincoln University, Ten Pin Bowling and Laser Strike, Hanmer Springs, the Botanic Gardens, Riverside and riding on the tram.
It can't be easy leaving your home and family for the summer break but all the students have seamlessly entered Casebrook life. They have done their absolute best in the classrooms and have made big efforts with their english, and making kiwi friends.
