On the 19th and 20th of August 2024, Casebrook hosted talent days due to the CAIMS Tournament.
For those who didn't attend CAIMS, there were a variety of options, including Creative Clay, Nifty Netballers, Fun with Flox, Minecraft Engineering, Optical Illusion Art, and many more. On Monday and Tuesday, these activities ran all day with students rotating between two different options.
We interviewed some students about the talent days and here's what they had to say:
Isla C: "On Monday, I did hip-hop and learned about different hip hop styles."
Srisma P: "On Monday, I did the bakeathon and learned how to bake lots of different things. We baked for charity."
Skylar H: "I did the Olympics and illusion art. In Olympics, we did sport-related activities. My favorite was the rock climbing."
Bonnie W: "I did Hollywood in the House and Nifty Netball. Hollywood in the House was fun because we got to create our own movies and animations. My favourite was the evil kidnapper."
Overall, it was a fantastic two days and a great opportunity to experience new things in a fun way!
