As part of the construction that’s underway to extend the Northern Line cycleway through Redwood, we need to do railway level crossing upgrades along the route.
This requires road closures either side of Sturrocks Road and Tuckers Road railway crossings, which will be in place from Sunday 25 February to Sunday 3 March – for more information, see the Start Works Notice (https://ccc.govt.nz/transport/works-3/show/1426).
Another dual closure will be needed at the end of March, with a new notice to be distributed to nearby residents closer to the time.
Detour signage will be in place to redirect traffic, but please allow more time for your journey if you are likely to be inconvenienced by these closures. We thank you in advance for your patience while we carry out these works related to constructing the shared path cycleway.
