Our REP focus for this fortnight has been showing REP in assemblies!
At Te Kura Mareko, assemblies are a time of togetherness, reflection and celebration. This fortnight we have been focusing on how we show REP during assemblies so that it's formal, calm, respectful but also enjoyable. This focus is an important one with celebration assemblies and prize giving coming up.
Here are some things we can do to show REP during assemblies:
Ensure our uniform is presentable and correct
Enter the hall space silently
Singing the national anthem with pride
Sitting next to somebody who will help you meet behavior expectations in assembly
Sitting quietly
Clapping politely
Keeping our hands and feet to ourselves
Standing quickly and silently
And most importantly, smiling and enjoying our Casebrook successes!
