At the end of last term the Casebrook Boys Touch team competed at the Koru Games.
During the last week of Term 3 the Casebrook Boys Touch team was one of the 13 Casebrook sports teams to take part in the Koru Games. The tournament was held at Foster Park in Rolleston and went for three days.
Over the three days of the tournament the boys played seven games. During pool play the team had some successful wins and the team was able to build their game play and implement some strategies that they thought would go well when they came to their tougher games. One of their tougher pool play matches was against Balmacewen Intermediate, losing 5-2. The team took a lot of learnings away from that loss. That was the only loss Casebrook had during pool play.
On the last day Casebrook made it through their semi final to face Balamacewen Intermediate in the final. It was a tough final with the team losing, however they played with REP, tried their hardest and had a lot of fun.
Well done Casebrook Boys touch!
