This event was a Minecraft Tournament where Hunter, Isaac, Patrick and I represented the boys team for our school.
The boys and girls team went to Te Pae and competed against lots of other schools to see who was the best of the best. This was a team event that required us to work together effortlessly. The final thing we created was a garden/dog cafe. There were three anonymous judges examining us on what we were doing.
Our favourite part of this would have been going downstairs and seeing all the cool exhibitions and creations. We found out about the tournament on the 11th of August. Every week on a Wednesday and Friday we would go in and practice building our cafe as quickly as possible in a training world. In the end our team ended up winning the best teamwork award at the competition. I would definitely recommend trying to get into the Minecraft Esports team next year.
