On Monday, 90 students showcased their talents in the kitchen by bringing in one of their specialty dishes that they cooked over the term for the Casebrook Challenge 'Masterchef' Super Challenge.
This term the Casebrook Super Challenge was Masterchef. Students were required to cook one night a week for the term and document their process. This challenge was widely received around the school with nearly 1/4 of students signing up. The final challenge for students was to pick one of their favourite dishes that they made over the term and bring it into school to share with one another. It was great to see a variety of whānau and friends flock to Rooms 7 & 8 to enjoy the special dining experience.
Over the term, students learnt a range of different cooking skills and techniques as they made a variety of meals ranging from entrées, to mains, and desserts.
Students who participated in the Super Challenge will receive a special certificate at the Casebrook Challenge celebration assemblies tomorrow.
Well done to everyone involved.
