New Brighton to Spencer Park Trek

Final Year 7 Adventure Activity: Trek

On Friday the 24th March all the Year 7 classes went on our final Adventure Day activity, a trek from New Brighton Pier to Spencer Park. It was a perfect day for walking, with cool temperatures in the morning and turning sunny and warm in the afternoon. We started our trek with a walk along the Pier and then headed along the beach toward Waimairi Surf Club and eventually to Spencer Park.  We walked a total of 10km.  A huge effort by all our students. Thank you to all our parent helpers and teachers who made it a successful day.
