CAIMS Tournament

On Monday and Tuesday 14th and 15th of August, a large number of students were out of the classroom and were representing their sport for Te Kura Mareko Casebrook Intermediate.

There were a large number of sports represented: Basketball, Netball, Volleyball, Football, Table Tennis, Badminton, Hockey, Rugby League and Rugby 7's. Unfortunately we did not achieve a high ranking in the competition but it was good to see Casebrook colours out on the field and courts.

Students around the school all thought that their highlight was being able to represent their school in sport, along with getting out of schoolwork to play sport. While some teams did not do as well as others, everyone enjoyed playing as a team and getting to compete against schools that they do not usually get to play against whether it is at Hagley Sport on a Tuesday or playing after school basketball against them on a Friday night.
