Te Ahi Ora

On Wednesday and Thursday 23rd and 24th of August Te Ahi Ora came into Casebrook to show us a thing or two about fire performances.

Each class had an awesome experience by having a lesson on fire performance. During the practice sessions, they showed the students eight basic moves, three combos, and two group games.

They also did a live performance with fire during lunch time!

When we asked students around the school about it they said how awesome it was seeing all the cool and complex moves that the performers did with the fire sticks.

Te Ahi Ora are doing a night time performance on Thursday 24th August (from 4.30pm) to show us how the professionals do it. We know that we are looking forward to it.
