Whatukura Market Day

The culmination of Inquiry for Whatukura will be a Market Day where the students will be selling products they have made or food they are making.

Inquiry this term has been around "Set up your start up". This has been a focus on students going through the process of making a business, pitching a product or service and then creating it.

Whatukura took this Inquiry down the route of being an entrepreneur where they had to present their idea in a "Dragons Den" style to see if their teachers would invest in them or not. Each group created a business plan, mission statement, budgeting, advertising and also market research.

Each group has selected a charity to donate a percentage of their profits to as their social action for the Inquiry. Whatukura will be selling food, products or letting students play the games they have designed to win prizes.

This will be happening outside Room 11 & 12 on Friday 1st September at lunchtime. Bring your money to grab a bargain!
