Over the last four weeks Room 9 have been lucky enough to have have Miss Beluchi join them.

Miss Beluchi is studying a Bachelor of Teaching through Te Rito Maioha. Over the last four weeks she has been able to get to know the students of Room 9 really well and has also built relationships with the staff. During her time as the teacher she has been able to teach lots of the curriculum subjects. Room 9 were lucky enough to also have a lesson in Arabic. They got to learn about the Arabic alphabet and create a piece of art that represented their name.

Room 9 have loved having her in their class and they will miss her bright sense of humour! On reflection, Miss Beluchi said she has had a fantastic time at Casebrook. She has felt really supported and has felt very welcomed by all of the staff and students.

When we asked Miss Beluchi about her future in education she told us about what has inspired her. She has wanted to become a teacher ever since she started school. Miss Beluchi enjoys supporting students with their learning and is passionate about education. She is lucky enough to have her mother as a teacher as she has been able to give her lots of helpful and valuable advice.

When she finishes her study at the end of the year, she is looking forward to having her own class. Her dream would to be at a small rural school as she loves the feel of the community. She is not worried about any particular age group as she enjoys teaching them all. The subject she enjoys teaching the most is mathematics.

Miss Beluchi, we wish you all the best on your next placement and for your future as a teacher!!
