Hagley Winter Sport is well underway. Jack and Will from Room 5 wanted to find out how some of the students were finding the experience.
Talofa! We interviewed different people playing two different sports for Hagley Winter Sport. Will and Jack went to Room 16 to talk with Alexis and Jesse. They asked them a variety of questions on the spot. Alexis and Jesse answered the questions pretty well, all things considered! They both appreciate playing their sports and representing the school.
Here are some of the questions we asked them:
1. What sport are you currently playing?
Alexis: Netball for Hagley Sport.
Jesse: Badminton on Tuesday Hagley Sport.
2. How are your games going?
Alexis: Not too bad.
Jesse: Alright.
3. Do you enjoy it?
Alexis: Yes, I am! It’s lots of fun.
Jesse: It's fun, other teams are nice
4. Have you ever played in a school Hagley team?
Both: Yes.
5. What teacher takes you for Hagley?
Alexis: Mr Houliston for our netball team
Jesse: Ms Hengst, for all the badminton teams
6. How many games have you played?
Alexis: Five games in total.
Jesse: Just three games at the moment.
7. Do you play any sports outside of school?
Both: Dance outside of school.
8. If you could sign up again, would you do a different sport or keep the one you're doing now?
Both: We’re both really enjoying the sports we’ve selected.
9. Did you sign up for Hagley to have fun, improve or win?
Alexis: I wanted to improve my netball skills.
Jesse: I signed up for badminton to have fun.
10. Did you get into the sport you wanted to?
Both: Yes!
If you’re a Year 7 and haven’t signed up for a sport this year, then give it a go for Summer Hagley or next year!
