This busy group have been making small light sensitive buzzers on Tuesday afternoons.
Twenty children, a mix of Year 7 and Year 8 students, have been making light sensitive alarms each Tuesday.
Running on a 9v battery these compact and portable units can be used to improve the security of your belongings.
If placed in a box, cupboard or a drawer they are armed and quiet. When light falls onto the LDR (light dependent resistor) it activates a 90db Piezo Siren that is sure to let everyone know that security has been breached!
