Riley first started gymnastics in a recreational group and then got selected to do competitive gymnastics at the young age of five.
She is currently a dedicated team member at the Christchurch School of Gymnastics.
Riley first stated gymnastics because it was something she had an interest in and wanted to try something new. Her favourite part is learning how to do new skills and improving her current technique.
The most challenging part is overcoming the fears of trying out new skills as well as the hours of training she puts in. Currently, Riley trains on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, a total of 14 hours a week - seriously impressive.
Recently, Riley has participated in competitions in Christchurch and Nelson and Blenheim.

We look forward to following Riley's continued success.
Well done on showing such dedication!
