Monday Workshops

Many of us have been lucky enough to take part in a number of student led workshops.

Thanks to Amber Davis for a wonderful session on Bath Bomb making. Amber was so organised for her workshop with a printed handout for the students to follow and a great display of sample options for everyone to choose. The smell in the room for the afternoon was very pleasant.

Last week Jasmine Swindells and Kasey McGlynn ran a high energy Hip Hop dance workshop. Jasmine broke the dance down to mini steps that made it easy for everyone to get the moves. There was plenty of laughter and lots of innovation in the end. The dancers came back the next day to keep practicing.  Another example of great teaching by our students.

Workshops in the pipeline are Salt Dough Decorations, Introduction to Robotics, Friendship Bracelet making, How to Make a Ninja Star and iMovie Editing.

What a great range of things to learn - well done to all the tutors for being confident enough to share their knowledge.
