Our REP focus for the end of the term has been using the school driveway and pedestrian crossing.
At Te Kura Mareko we currently only have one entrance point to the school - the driveway! It is important that all students know how to safely enter and exit the school.
Some key things we can do to make sure that everyone is entering and exiting the school safely using the crossing and driveway are:
Scooter or bike between the painted lines on the driveway
Dismount at the old dental clinic and walk bikes or scooters to the compound
Get dropped off or picked up at the top of the driveway, or down the road so that you can walk up to school
Show respect at the road patrol crossing by walking across
A huge shoutout to our awesome road patrollers for keeping everyone safe, rain or shine!
