Hunter Charlett in Room 5 won the New Zealand Motorcycle Championship.
Hunter Charlett in Room 5 participated in and won the New Zealand Supersport 150 Motorcycle Championship that took place from March 7th-10th in Taupo.
During the race Hunter thought that he would not win because he has only been training for one year. He really stepped it up and won two of six races. After winning Hunter felt happy and proud because his dream had come true.
Hunter has been training since he was seven years old and trains a few times a month. He goes to Ashburton where he focuses on strength and balance.
Hunter explained that his dad inspired him because he is a New Zealand championship winner as well.
This week Hunter is off to Sydney for his 1st race meeting in the Oceania Junior Cup.
