Camps finish at the end of the week and to date only one group had to cope with damp conditions. The range of activities has provided challenges and many positive opportunities for team building. Thank you to parents for your support.
The Year 7 activity days are now under way with all groups enjoying surfing to be followed by a day at Horizon being challenged with the High Ropes course. The Trek in the Port Hills will be reassessed closer to the revised date of March 24.
Thank you very much to those who were able to attend our Meet the Teacher evening on Tuesday night. We value the opportunity of creating close home-school connections. If you have yet to meet your child's teacher please do not hesitate to email them and sort a suitable time.
Casebrook has a Teacher Only Day on March 6. School will be closed on this day to allow staff to take part in Professional Development. We do not normally take a day during term time but it was the only time the facilitator had available. We are developing staff expertise in the use of SOLO. This is a system that will assist in teachers being more effective in the classroom and works across the curriculum. Our staff will be working with the Cotswold staff as we see the value in developing strong learning pathways with our contributing schools. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
If you are in the school please come and make yourself known to me and if at any time you have questions or concerns do not hesitate to contact any of our staff.
Regards
Sharon Keen
