Top Team - Sport Canterbury

Last week Top Team - Sports Canterbury came to our school and it resulted in a lot of wet and laughing year 7’s!

Top Team Challenge is a series of interactive team building challenges designed to promote problem-solving, communication and teamwork while being active and having fun.

We asked them Tom Gainsford and Haley Waghorn questions about their experience:

What was your perspective on the top team?

It was a fun experience for us but it looked like everyone liked it.

Do you think it should be a weekend program? Yes, it should be because it is very fun and enjoyable.

What was your favourite activity for the top team? It was the block tower because we built it really high and beat the other team.

If you could add another activity to the top team what would it be?

A gumboot toss filled with water and whoever threw it the furthest will get to pour a bucket of water on the other kid's head.

How long did it take for your class to finish the program?

It took about an hour and a half but it was definitely worth it.

What was your overall perspective of the top team?

It was amazing because of all the activities that they had for us. I wish that they could come back and have the gumboot toss.
