Casebrook School Community Edible and Sustainable Garden Awards

The hard work, love and care that has gone into building up an outstanding school and community garden by our Foods technology and 'garden to table' teacher, Mrs Lauren Dick-McCann has been acknowledged in two awards!

We are so proud to have been awarded two prizes by the Waipapa-Innes Community Board on behalf of the Christchurch City Council  -

• School Sustainable Garden Award
• Organic Garden Award

These awards are testament to the years of hard work put in by Lauren and her students in turning an idea and a disused bit of land into a highly sustainable and engaging part of our school and our community.

It is lovely for that hard work to have been acknowledged.
