Recently, Jamie Messervy was awarded Most Valued Player at his polo tournament.
Not only was Jamie MVP, he was also one of the youngest players at the tournament. Jamie started horse riding six years ago and began playing polo just three years ago. He has participated in approximately 12 tournaments and won a large portion of those games.
His least favourite part of playing polo is getting bucked off his horse, it has happened to him before therefore he is wary about it happening again. Jamie's favourite part about playing is when the horse runs at a fast speed. Before his matches, Jamie feels a mix of emotions including stress, happiness and excitement.
Jamie is grateful for his mum who is also a rider that always comes to support him.
We look forward to following Jamie's future success.
