Meet the Casebrook House Leaders for 2022

We asked our Casebrook 2022 House Leaders some questions about what they are into and love about our school.

What do you love about Casebrook?

What are you looking forward to most about the year ahead?

What things do you like to do in your spare time?

Which special talents do you have?

Sawyers House:

Adarsh Rijal

I love Casebrook because of all of the opportunities like sports teams, enrichments, extensions, and more. I also really love playing basketball at this school because there are lots of people who want to play and play pretty competitively against each other.

I am looking forward to some of the jobs I might have to do as a house leader or the head boy, and also I am excited about the basketball season starting so the teams can start to play proper games.

In my spare time, I like to play basketball, maybe do some art, and watch some youtube.

I can do a 'kip-up' which is where you get up off the ground when lying on your back then do a type of jump to get on your feet!

Jessica Rivett

I love Casebrook because there are so many opportunities and so many clubs you can try throughout your two years at our school.

I'm looking forward to being one of the Sawyers house leaders because I get to listen to the student ideas and try to make most them happen.

I like to play sport including - hockey, climbing, squash and wakeboarding. I also like to play music, sing, dance and hang out with my friends.

A special talent I have is cooking! 

Northfield House:

Frano Chaplin

I love the sport and academic opportunities at school.

I'm really looking forward to our Rugby League tournament because of the new talent that we have and building on from last years success.

In my spare time I like listening to music, gaming, playing a bit of rugby and swimming.

My special talent is that I can throw shot-puts very far!

Gia Soutzidellis-Urquhart

I like all the opportunities there are at Casebrook especially the musical opportunities because I like music. I also love all the teachers. They are amazing and are really helpful.

I’m really looking forward to camp as I can spend more time with my classmates and do fun things with them. I also can’t wait to make this year a great year for Northfield house.

I like doing arts and crafts at home and I love reading books because they take me on adventures. I also love going on outings with my family.

I have many talents but a talent people don’t actually know about me is that I play the bagpipes. 

Cavendish House:

Maddison McDonald

I love all the opportunities that Casebrook provides us.

I'm really looking forward to the responsibilities that I will get to take on as Head Girl.

I love playing sport such as hockey and horse riding and I love to hang out with my friends.

I have a cool talent which is being able to hold a handstand for a veeeery long time!

Bobby Careford

I love everything but especially all the opportunities.

Im looking forward to being a house leader because I can show the Year 7s how the school works but also how fun it is.

I like to play sports - especially football, futsal and basketball

A special talent I have is that I'm a good swimmer. I have been swimming my whole life and have been doing surf life saving. 

Veitches House:

Angelee Wagener

I love all the opportunities but especially art and dance.

I'm looking forward to joining lots of groups like hockey, kapa haka, pasifika, art and softball.

Jordy Moore 

I love all the opportunities at Casebrook because at my last school there was nowhere near the amount! I especially like all the sporting opportunities.

I'm most looking forward to to Hagley Sports and the extension groups this year.

I like playing sport outside of school and my favourite ones are cricket, football and swimming. I'd call them my special talents too!
