Tēnā Koutou Katoa - Casebrook Students Show Great Enthusiasm and Engagement for Education Outside the Classroom Experiences

Year 7's have completed their surfing days and the Port Hills Trek. These activities allow for our new students to mix informally while taking part in wonderful local events. Half the Year 8's have completed their camps. These are always regarded as a highlight of the year. Weather permitting the remaining four classes will go over the next two weeks.

During your child's time at Casebrook, we really encourage them to engage with as many activities as possible, activities that are additional to their classroom-based programs.  A mix of the Arts, Sport, and Cultural activities is desirable to provide them with diverse experiences.  We believe that this is an essential part of their development as they move from childhood to young adults.

Our optional activities will start during the next few weeks.  Please watch the daily notices for meeting times and places.  Please also remember you can find the daily notices, with this information, on our website.  These are often posted at the beginning of each week so you are well informed in advance.

COVID continues to feature in our daily lives and the advice and actions schools are directed to take changes regularly.  Our leadership team is constantly revising our systems and processes to align with the latest information and so when Casebrook has a confirmed case you will be well informed.  Please take notice of the information we provide and not that on social media sites.  However, we see it is important for our students to settle into routines and so are endeavouring to keep school life as normal as possible for as long as we can.

Thank you all for your ongoing support, it is always valued.  We really have had a great start to the year, all things considered.  Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
