Year 7 surfing trips

Over the last couple of weeks, all Year 7 classes got the chance to go to Sumner for a surfing trip.

We spoke to four students from Rooms 3 and 4 after their experience. We interviewed Kayelani, Olivia, Jayda, and Zac.

All classes travelled by bus to Sumner. The highlight for all of the students we interviewed was body boarding. They said it was so much fun! They found surfing challenging and body boarding was easier. Some of the students had done these activities before and some hadn't. It was nice and sunny on the day that Rooms 3 and 4 got to go. Afterwards, they felt tired. Some students even fell asleep on the bus! All of the students we interviewed said they would love to do it again.
