Leon Greig was lucky enough to go to the CAIMS speech contest on Wednesday 27th October to represent Casebrook school.
The way that Leon prepared for the competition was practice, practice, practice. After practicing just a few times Leon had already memorised his entire speech. He was really happy with his speech topic, and wouldn’t change it even if he could!
On the day of the CAIMS speech competition Leon had porridge for breakfast.
Leon didn’t think that he was going to get far, he was just trying to do his best. As he started to say his speech he was a bit nervous but got more confident as he went on. Leon was a bit worried that other people's speeches were going to be better than his.
